• Informatie over Trinidad and Tobago

Op de eerste dag, direct na aankomst zijn wij met een airport taxi doorgereden naar Maracas beach. Onderweg naar daar hebben we 2 stops gemaakt. De eerste stop om te eten en de tweede om wat inkopen te doen. De taxi rit was best wel prijzig. Aangekomen te Maracas beach zijn we gaan inchecken in het hotel daar. Voor een kamer met twee tweepersoons bedden koste ongeveer $140. Vreemd genoeg waren er geen andere hotel gasten ondanks een pracht van een beach.

De 2e dag kwam ik erchter dat de taxi ons teveel in rekening had gebracht. Toen hij ons kwam ophalen heb hem daarmee geconfronteerd. Hij bood ons toen een korting aan op de rit terug naar Port of spain, maar daar aangekomen kwam hij met alerlei drogrededen om toch een hogere prijs in rekening te brengen.
